Acceptance of same-sex gay relationships falls for first time in decades since Aids crisis

Acceptance of lesbian, gay and bisexual Britons has steadily risen since the 1980s, reaching 68 per cent in 2017. Last year, however, that figure dropped to 66 per cent.
