They cost the USA about 4% of GDP, which is likely to be the cost of Brexit.Unlike the Apollo missions, though, this is a cumulative loss, with no benefits and at a cost of the LOSS of international prestige.It took years of planning and thousands of “Experts” to land on the moon. There were also many deaths and serious accidents on the way and, having got there, it’s quite telling that there was very little interest in going back.
