It shows a modest improvement in factory activity, with the headline index rising to 51.3 in October, from 51.1 in September. 1.50pm GMT On the US jobs numbers, which showed the economy added 128,000 workers in October.Wow, a blowout JOBS number just out, adjusted for revisions and the General Motors strike, 303,000. This is far greater than expectations. USA ROCKS!Folks. Read the report. It says payrolls grew by 128k. You can add in another 50k to account for the GM strike. Nothing grew by 303k.
