NASA renames deep space telescope after 'the mother of the Hubble Telescope' Nancy Roman

NASA has announced it will name the Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope after Nancy Roman, one of the first women to work at the agency and a pivotal figure in the development of the Hubble Telescope.
