When McAleenan took the stage to speak, demonstrators shouted \u201cwhen immigrants are under attack, stand up fight back\u201d and chanted the names of children who died at the border. Demonstrators ignored requests from the conference organizers to stop disrupting McAleenan\u2019s speech so the gathered crowd could ask him questions during the Q&amp;A scheduled for after his remarks. Conference organizers asked them to stop so audience could ask questions and engage in democracy but they wouldn\u2019t. pic.twitter.com\/jKW6595Io5And after many attempts to speak, McAleenan leaves without giving his remarks \u2014 He was going to take questions from the audience, but now the lawyers and advocates in attention will not have that opportunity.\u201cYou brought the right point to the wrong place,\u201d a man calls out. 2.40pm BST As expected, Trump\u2019s attorneys have filed an appeal to the judge\u2019s decision that his tax returns can be subpoenaed as part of a probe into whether he violated New York state laws. What remains unclear is whether he has to comply with the ruling and turn over his tax returns during the appeal.
