Kiss goodbye to the next 30 years of your life\u2019, I would have thought twice.\u201dThe 47-year-old has been off the drug for nine months and says he has never felt so well, but many of his friends have not been so lucky. Over the years he has been to the funerals of 19 people who have died from drug overdoses. \u201cI hung around with 22 lads when I was growing up, and there are three of them left now,\u201d he says.
