Diecisiete horas, tres minutos y nueve husos horarios m\u00e1s tarde aterrizaba en las pistas de \u00adHeathrow, el principal aer\u00f3dromo de Londres. Era el primer vuelo regular directo entre Australia y Reino Unido y representaba, m\u00e1s que ning\u00fan otro, la capacidad de la nueva generaci\u00f3n de aviones en servicio de romper las barreras entre continentes.
