It\u2019s the first knockout round of the 2018 World Cup! Messi can only do so much, and receiving 3 foot passes in the middle of the park isn\u2019t going to cut it.\u201dIt could happen, Paul. The doubt is because France haven\u2019t played well yet. I can see them winning handily if they click. So far, though, they\u2019ve been stodgy and bland. Argentina have a bit of soul. It\u2019s illogical. There\u2019s no reason to think they\u2019re good enough &#8211; ok, Messi\u2019s a reason &#8211; but this is knockout football and knockout football can be weird. If France don\u2019t show personality, Argentina could take advantage.
