It was some of the best ball-striking I\u2019ve had in a tournament. Unfortunately I wasn\u2019t able to make the putts, but Gary did, and hats off to him! That was a cool way to see him finish it off, and go out in style like that. I thought we had a ball game early on! We closed the gap, got it to within three going into the last nine, but I made bogey and missed a few putts. But I\u2019m pleased with the way I played, and I don\u2019t regret anything. I gave my heart out, and it just wasn\u2019t good enough this week. The Open will be awesome, and special for Rick [his caddie] to play in his home town. It\u2019ll be a fun week and I\u2019m really looking forward to it.\u201d 2.57am BST More from Woodland. \u201cI don\u2019t even know what to say! I probably feel more nervous now than I was all day today. I really felt good all week. We\u2019ve been preparing for this, we\u2019ve worked hard. I\u2019ve hit the golf ball pretty good for a long time, but the short game\u2019s just taken pressure off the ball striking, and the putting is taking pressure off everything. When I can do that, it adds up to a pretty good week. I was trying to enjoy the moment. It\u2019s obviously uncomfortable to be in the lead at a major, but I am trying to enjoy being uncomfortable! I tried to enjoy the pressure, and really thrived on it. Rosey\u2019s a good buddy, so playing with him helped me. And Koepka, what he\u2019s done lately is unbelievable.
